Bullet conversions: Copy text from OneNote 2007 to Word 2003 creates bullets with "Outline numbered" style, which don't convert

description

I just copied some text that I'd written up in OneNote 2007 to the Clipboard, and pasted it into a new, blank Word 2003 document.  Then I ran the conversion, which happened to skip over all the bullets (1st, 2nd and 3rd level indentation).  I tried again, and it still failed.

I used the Styles and Formatting task pane to select all the 1st-level bullets, chose "Clear Formatting" then clicked on the Bullet button in the Formatting toolbar.  The Styles and Formatting toolbar reported these as "Bulleted" formatting, and the remaining 2nd- and 3rd-level bullets were labelled "Outline numbered".

The details of that style/formatting are:
  • Name = Style Outline numbered 10 pt
  • Style type = List
  • detailed description = No List + Indent: Left: 0.25", Hanging: 0.25", Outline numbered + Level: 1 + Numbering Style: 1, 2, 3, ... + Start at: 1 + Alignment: Left + Aligned at: 0.25" + Tab after: 0.5" + Indent at: 0.5"

Recommend: implement additional logic in the bullet conversion routine to detect these kinds of "bullets" and attempt to convert them as well.
